Self Reflection 2025: Spirit’s Message to Us for an Abundant 2026

"Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens." – Carl Jung.

As 2025 draws to a close, we are invited to pause, reflect, and turn inward. True transformation begins not with the world around us, but from the depths within. Reflection acts as the catalyst for breaking cycles and fostering genuine change. Without conscious self-examination, we are destined to repeat the same patterns, unable to step into the abundance that awaits us in 2026.

It is easy to look outward and point fingers, seeking to blame others for our circumstances. This external focus provides temporary comfort but fails to address the roots of our challenges. The real work lies in examining our own choices, acknowledging moments where we may have acted from pettiness, jealousy, or even darker motives in our attempts to gain control. These realizations can be uncomfortable—they require honesty and courage, as they reveal the ways we have tried to maintain a sense of order in a world where true control is an illusion.

We are endowed with free will, and every choice we make carves a path before us. While our decisions can mimic control, the truth is that outcomes are shaped not by force but by intention and reaction. Every action sets in motion energies that ripple through our lives, yielding both positive and negative consequences. This is the dance of creation and experience.

It is only through embracing neutrality that we open ourselves to the Divinity within—the higher wisdom that guides us toward the most harmonious outcomes. To reach this neutrality, we must relinquish the illusion of control and trust that every situation is working out for our highest good. Surrendering to God's will, or to our Higher Power, is not an abandonment of care; rather, it is an act of deep faith and alignment. When we release our grip, we invite grace to enter, paving the way for solutions and blessings we could not have orchestrated alone.

Neutrality does not mean indifference. Instead, it is the vessel that carries us to the best possible outcome for ourselves and our loved ones. While others may perceive our lack of strong opinion as detachment, it is, in truth, a profound act of trust—offering our concerns to something greater and allowing Spirit to guide the journey. In essence, we are letting “Jesus take the wheel,” surrendering the need for total control and embracing divine partnership.

Taking those first steps into surrender can feel daunting. Letting go often feels counterintuitive when our instincts urge us to hold tighter. Yet, paradoxically, surrender is the very act that aligns us with our soul’s true path. Our Higher Power, whether it be God or Higher-self, holds the roadmap to our destiny, gently steering us around obstacles and leading us to outcomes far better than those we could create on our own.

As you approach 2026, consider these questions:

  • Where have you chosen to go?

  • Where are you choosing to stay?

  • What are you not choosing?

  • Are you allowing the guidance of your heart?

  • Or are you continuing to try to control the situation, another’s choices, or your desired outcome?

In my own reflection, Spirit offered me this message to share: Take the time to pause, breathe, and turn inward. Find a quiet space, perhaps with a cup of tea, and allow yourself to meditate, journal, or simply be present with your thoughts. Let Spirit guide your reflection, and trust that the insights you receive will illuminate your path forward.

Blessings for a New Year 2026,

Mxo
